I am a life-long Chicago area resident. I grew up in the south suburbs and have lived on the city’s Northside for over 20 years. In late 2015, I started volunteering at CHIRPradio.org as the Marketing Director and in July 2016, I started DJ-ing a weekly radio show on Monday nights from 6-8pm. The Chicago Independent Radio Project supports local and independent music with real, live DJ’s! My background is in college radio - I went to Northern Illinois University and was a DJ at WKDI - the student run radio station for 4 years. Eventually, I became program director and then was station manager my last 2 years at the station. So, it's great to be back working in radio again!

I’m also a professional artist working out of the Cornelia Arts Building creating cityscape paintings and photographs of architecture. I exhibit around Chicago and my work is in private and corporate collections throughout the U.S. and Europe. My day job is at a digital ad agency and tech company where I work as a community manager on their company intranet.
